Hey, we’re Stephane & Arthur.
We’re co-founders of HAUS, a wood-fired social sauna on the shore of Comox Lake in Cumberland.
Arthur builds things. Stephane tells the stories. We both wanted one thing: a place in town to be warm, to be outside, and to bump into people, especially through the cold, dark months.
So we made one. Real wood heat. A cold lake plunge. A cosy canvas lounge, with tea on.
Come alone or with friends. Slow down, sweat, say hi. Everyone’s welcome.
Sauna has long been celebrated for its ability to help us slow down, relax, and recharge. Meaningful social connections play an important role in our physical and mental well-being.
